I know that DICUI is already pulling the build date from the 'internal serial' file for ps1/ps2, so if that could be automatically be populated into the comments field in the submission information, that would be very helpful. For PS1 and PS2 Japan, the internal serial is helpful and typically goes in the comments area.

Even better if it can be converted to standard format, such as SLUS-90037 instead of SLUS_900.37
