I'm using GFPGANv1.3.pth model and I found that when it tried to restore photos of African Americans, it placed straight hair strands on them. Their hair is naturally black and curly. I'm thinking this model didn't include enough of them in the training set.

It also tends to add wrinkles to children, like it's biased towards older people.
