Two games with CHD dumps that MAME proclaims are good would be "Gauntlet Legends (version 1.6)" and "San Francisco Rush: The Rock (boot rom L 1.0, GUTS Oct 6 1997 / MAIN Oct 16 1997)". It would be a good idea to take a look at those games first. Note that the latter game only works on current versions of MAME.
