  • I was running DiscImageChef under Linux [Ubuntu 19.10]...
  • ...using .NET Core [3.0.100]...
  • ...in 64-bit

Description

When I try to dump an Xbox or Xbox 360 game with a Kreon drive, the middle zone size reported is extremely large; around 18446744073709544784 sectors.

Exact command line used:

DiscImageChef dump-media /dev/sr0 THUG2.dicf

Expected behavior:

The disc to dump.

Actual behavior:

After a while of dumping, the Chef starts to actually try to dump all those billions of sectors, at which point the drive spins down. I never waited a million years for the dump to finish.

If command was expected to work with a device fill this out:

  • Manufacturer: TSST
  • Model: TS-H352 (Kreon)
  • Bus:
    • USB
