Description
Aaru takes a very long time to dump an Audio CD as it seems to be retrying every LBA position several times. In the last CD I tried, Aaru took 2099.157 seconds, which is actually longer than the audio content of the disc.
The sub.log reports lots and lots lines similar to the following.
Perhaps a similar issue to #401?
Exact command line used:
aaru m dump --private -O compress=false /dev/sr0 cd.aaruOutput of command execution with debug output enabled

Hi,
Unless the subchannel log shows something different it seems that your disc is just like that.
For preservation purposes the default is to retry all subchannels (the set number of retry passes, that is by default 5).
You can modify this behaviour in several ways:
1.- You can disable the retry passes and just use
--generate-subchannelsoption.2.- If you are sure the contents of RW subchannels do not contain useful information, or do not care about losing it, you can use
--subchannel pqoption to only read the PQ subchannels3.- You can combine any of the previous ones with
--fix-subchannelwhere Aaru will try to detect common errors and see if a fix is clearly available. But it's not a bug, it's the default behaviour.
