bc75f2e8e8 If ld is not GNU ld, --without-versioned-libs is assumed, so it is 
useless to fail if make is also not GNU make.

2c15dd5f1d Access libcdio.sym and libiso9660.sym through $(srcdir) to enable

74a383d80e "static inline __attribute__((deprecated))" functions are not available 
in standard C; only use them with GCC 3 and above, and replace them with
simple #defines for other compilers.
