eb3f69cac6 tests/tcg/plugins/mem.c: remove dependency on qemu headers
This plugin uses endianness conversion primitives from QEMU headers. As
next commit will strongly isolate plugins code from those headers, those
primitives can't be used anymore.

glib.h provides such primitives:

c22ea55b3b plugins: return bool from register r/w API
The qemu_plugin_{read,write} register API previously was inconsistent
with regard to its docstring (where a return value of both -1 and 0
would indicate an error) and to the memory read/write APIs, which
already return a boolean value to indicate success or failure.
Returning the number of bytes read or written is superfluous, as the
GByteArray* passed to the API functions already encodes the length.
See the linked thread for more details.

This patch moves from returning an int (number of bytes read/written) to
returning a bool from the register read/write API, bumps the plugin API
version, and adjusts plugins and tests accordingly.

9125196aaa tests: add plugin asserting correctness of discon event's to_pc
We recently introduced plugin API for the registration of callbacks for
discontinuity events, specifically for interrupts, exceptions and host
call events. The callback receives various bits of information,
including the VCPU index and PCs.

This change introduces a test plugin asserting the correctness of that
behaviour in cases where this is possible with reasonable effort.

9761ad5f65 meson: fix Windows build
The build fails on Windows. Replace calls to Unix programs like ´cat´,
´sed´ and ´true´ with calls to ´python´ and wrap calls to
´os.path.relpath´ in try-except because it can fail when the two paths
are on different drives. Make sure to convert the Windows paths to Unix
paths to prevent warnings in generated files.

01499add2a contrib/plugins: Fix type conflict of GLib function pointers
On Emscripten, function pointer casts can result in runtime failures due to
strict function signature checks. This affects the use of g_list_sort and
g_slist_sort, which internally perform function pointer casts that are not
supported by Emscripten. To avoid these issues, g_list_sort_with_data and
g_slist_sort_with_data should be used instead, as they do not rely on
function pointer casting.

892b06c40e plugins: add explicit dependency in functional tests
./tests/functional/test_aarch64_tcg_plugins.py needs to have plugin
libinsn built. However, it's not listed as a dependency, so meson can't
know it needs to be built.

Thus, we keep track of all plugins, and add them as an explicit
dependency.

ecbcc9ead2 tests/tcg: add a system test to check memory instrumentation
At first I thought I could compile the user-mode test for system mode
however we already have a fairly comprehensive test case for system
mode in "memory" so lets use that.

As tracking every access will quickly build up with "print-access" we
add a new mode to track groups of reads and writes to regions. Because
the test_data is 16k aligned we can be sure all accesses to it are
ones we can count.

First we extend the test to report where the test_data region is. Then
we expand the pdot() function to track the total number of reads and
writes to the region. We have to add some addition pdot() calls to
take into account multiple reads/writes in the test loops.

Finally we add a python script to integrate the data from the plugin
and the output of the test and validate they both agree on the total
counts. As some boot codes clear the bss we also add a flag to add a
regions worth of writes to the expected total.
