For an improved user experience it would be nice to let the user know many characters they have left to type. Otherwise they suddenly hit the maximum length and have to delete stuff and rethink what the want to type.

Describe the solution you'd like
Show a small info about how many characters with the maximum of charaters available. Like "42/200"

Describe alternatives you've considered
The alternative would be to offer a code snippet or template in your docs for this scenario.

Additional context
I have several occasion where the user is able to add comments and they wasted time to rethink their comments. Not much, but it adds up over time.
