This is standard Tabbed UI behavior across many products, and for many decades (IE & FireFox have this option, and this is the standard method for tab switching for a whole host of development tools, such as Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, and Notepad++, and it's also the standard way Alt-Tab has always behaved on windows for switching tasks. Developers have years and decades of muscle-memory, and EXPECT to be able to just hit Ctrl-Tab to go back to the last tab they were looking at, regardless of whether the tab is adjacent or not. --> # Proposed technical implementation details (optional) <!-- Pressing Ctrl-Tab or Shift-Ctrl-Tab should behave exactly as it does in other tabbed UIs, such as VS, SSMS, and Notepad++ -->
