Windows Terminal no longer starts after Visual Studio update #11434

Environment

Windows build number: 10.0.18363.0
Windows Terminal version (if applicable): 1.4.2011.9001

Any other software? Visual Studio 16.8.1, .NET 5.0.100

Steps to reproduce

Update Visual Studio, reboot, attempt to start Windows Terminal.

Expected behavior

Windows Terminal should start.

Actual behavior

A gray rectangle shows up for a few seconds. An error event is recorded.

No go after repair, reset and reinstall, but another reboot after all that led to it starting again. Closing issue, because able to solve.
