Environment

Windows build number: [10.0.19042.685]
Windows Terminal version (if applicable): 1.4.3243.0

Any other software? git for windows 2.30.0

Steps to reproduce

  1. add the following profile to the settings.json (suppose git for windows in installed in C:/Program Files)

Expected behavior

nothing happens

Actual behavior

if there is no character to delete, it flashes:
