If I change the Settings.json file to customize my terminal, it doesn't work and there is no new theme applied.
i have add One Half Dark theme to "schemes": []

I don't know about Ubuntu, but I think you need to use

colorScheme: "One Half Dark"

somewhere ... in a profile or in "defaults".

The ubuntu option you see is more than likely the Windows Subsystem for Linux. If you install that you should have an Ubuntu shell on your machine.

@abdes-zakari The Terminal doesn't come bundled with Ubuntu, it only detects if you've already installed it. Can you confirm that you've installed an Ubuntu (or any other) distro from the store?

No, I thought that the Ubuntu Terminal comes with Windows Terminal without prior installation of Ubuntu.
