Extra new line while using Telnet connection #13497

Steps to reproduce

I use WT for network labs. I connect to nodes with a telnet connection. And while I am inside the node and doing some stuff there. Exactly at this point when I press the enter key to go to the new line. It gives me two new lines. It feels like I have pressed the key twice.

Expected Behavior

It should give only one new line each time I press to the enter key

Actual Behavior

In case you need more detail, the following virtual images are from vendors such as:
