Windows Terminal version (or Windows build number)

10.0.19041.0

Other Software

Powershell7 7.1.3
WSL2
WIndows Terminal Preview 1.9.1523.0

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable the wt.exe application alias in Settings > Manage App execution aliases
  2. start windows terminal w/ a windows in quake mode C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\wt.exe -w _quake; split-pane -p "PowerShell7" -V; split-pane -p "WSL" -H
  3. Activate the quake windows via WIN+backtick
  4. In any of the 3 panes press backtick
  5. Note the terminal stops working
  6. Type a backtick in another pane
  7. Note the terminal stops working

Expected Behavior

Pressing a backtick will type a backtick and not cause the panes to stop responding

Actual Behavior

Panes stop responding. Single backticks are useful in Powershell. Hurts not being able to type them sometimes.

I'm assuming you're using an English/US keyboard layout? I'm unable to reproduce this bug unfortunately... 😟
