Right clicking on the tab windows to change color only changes color for the tab itself.

Not the tab window background as claimed in your documentation here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/terminal/tips-and-tricks#color-a-tab

The documentation doesn't claim that it'll set the background color of the window. It specifically says:

You can right click on a tab and select Color... to color the tab for that terminal session. You can select from a predefined list of colors or you can click Custom... to pick any color using the color picker or the RGB/HSV or hex fields.

(emphasis added). It literally just means changing the color of the tab itself, not the Terminal 😅

That being said, it's a kinda neat idea to be able to recolor the background of the window, so I'm gonna tag this up as a feature request. We could always add another entry for "background color" or something. Thanks!

Thanks Mike. That would be great!
PS: Actually a few hours after opening that issue, I figured out how to
do it by changing the settings file. But then two days later all those
changes are gone!
