Windows Terminal version (or Windows build number)

1.11.2421.0, 1.10.2383.0

Other Software

Windows 11 22468.1000

Steps to reproduce

If I move the Windows Terminal window to the top left of the screen, most mouse interactions don't work for a certain area of the terminal.

My screen configuration is a single monitor 2560x1440 @ 144Hz with scale set to 100%.

GPU is GeForce GTX 1060 3GB running NVIDIA driver 27.21.14.5671 (default installed by Windows, not using NVIDIA GFE/GRD/SD).

I saw a bunch of other similar reports, but they were all from users who have PowerToys installed. I do not have PowerToys installed, I have a relatively fresh Windows 11 install besides some standard corporate tools, browsers, drivers (7zip, Adobe Acrobat DC, Company Portal, Datto RMM, Ninja RMM, Chrome, Edge, Logitech Options, Teams, Mimecast Security Agent, Office, Splashtop, Spotify, Telegram, Zoom).

The issue still happens after a fresh reboot and reinstalling both Terminal and Terminal Preview.

Expected Behavior

I expect mouse interactions to work as normal.

Actual Behavior

The buttons in the title (close, new tab, menu, maximise, minimise) do not work. They also do not highlight when I hover over them. I am also unable to select text in the terminal window. However, clicking and dragging an empty section of the title to move the window still works, as do the resize handles.

There is also a gap around the top of the screen and left of the screen where interactions do work, and if the top left of the window isn't working, the bottom right of the window will still work provided it is outside of the dead zone.

What it feels like is there's an invisible window sitting on top of the terminal blocking any mouse events from getting through to the terminal window (except for moving and resizing). This invisible window / dead zone seems to start at 20px from the top, 10px from the left, and be about 770px wide and 560px high. I can't find any more dead zones.
