There's already an issue open to add documentation for that here: https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/terminal/issues/139

But I think it's controlled by the standard Windows privacy settings under Settings > Privacy > Diagnostics & Feedback. Hopefully one of the core devs will be able to confirm that.
