Steps to reproduce

  1. Open Windows Terminal with PowerShell
  2. Using wsl enter wsl
  3. Using Ctrl + C to copy text, nothing in clipboard.
  1. Open Windows Terminal with PowerShell
  2. Using Ctrl + C to copy text, works as excepted.
  1. Open Windows Terminal with Ubuntu Bash
  2. Using Ctrl + C to copy text, works as excepted.

Expected Behavior

Copy selected text to clipboard

Actual Behavior

Nothing in clipboard

How are you selecting text in PowerShell? With shift+arrows?

Though, I suppose I'd expect scenarios 1 & 3 to behave exactly the same here. That's certainly curious... Is Ubuntu your default distro?

I use arch linux as my default distro

I did it on another computer using the same method and it seems to be fine. Only this one computer is unable to copy the content. After rebooting once it still doesn't work

Tried the windows terminal preview version and it works.

I will use the preview version as an alternative.

Well that's simply crazy. That doesn't make any sense, but I'm glad it's working for you!

Would you mind sharing the settings.json for both Preview and Stable versions of the Terminal? Maybe there's some difference between the two that could explain this.

After updating Windows, copy works properly, not quite sure if the terminal has automatic updates.
