Steps to reproduce

Split open a pane with pane animations enabled

Expected Behavior

The background during the pane split animation should not be transparent

Actual Behavior

The background during the pane split animation is transparent (somehow, the close pane animation background is correct though)

Folks, it's been there for 3.5 years now. Although the issue is not blocking, the frequency is quite high. Can you prioritize the issue?

Probably not without switching to a completely new UI framework, and honestly that's gonna be a non-starter for another 3.5 years.
