The bottom and right of the window are "gutters" where characters cannot fit. We thought it would be strange if it did not take the full "docked" size for the window frame since most dockable windows do expand to cover the expected space. What would you expect here? 😄

Do I understand that correctly: because the window is docked, it's stretched to unconventional dimensions, which don't allow neovim to render a full line. Similarly, I can see now that resizing of an undocked window is not smooth and instead "jumps" through sizes that will allow a full line rendering.

Well, I had no idea that something like that exists, but since it's the expected behavior it will bother me less (although it still hurts my eyes 😿 ).
