Steps to reproduce

Open an instance of Windows Terminal and then close it.

It does not happen always but most of the time it does.

Windows Terminal leaves behind a OpenConsole.exe instance running, I've seen up to six background OpenConsole.exe processes running.

Expected Behavior

OpenConsole.exe should close when Windows Terminal is closed

Actual Behavior

OpenConsole.exe does not close when Windows Terminal is closed

I believe this is a /duplicate of #14132, which has been fixed and is pending release!

Same problem here.. going to the microsoft store app and uninstalling the terminal app fixed it for me. Strange thing is, I don't remember installing it in the first place. There is a separate beta version of the app you can install but I'll just wait a year or so since it seems not fully baked yet.
