@fatesc Open the Windows Terminal Settings, go to the default profile, scroll down to the Appearance section, and set the Window Padding to zero. You can also set the Scrollbar visibility to hidden if you like.

That should get rid of all the padding around the border of the window, although you may have to restart the terminal first to get it to resize correctly.
