Description of the new feature/enhancement

Add a setting to the Console configuration to generate a file in which to store/write the output from the console as the content is generated. This would add to the Export Text functionality which already exists, but make it automatic and streamed so new data is added as it is generated. This would help with review/audit of commands and output by generating these files without having to save the content manually or deal with the limitations of the output buffer, aka History size.

Proposed technical implementation details (optional)

I would like an option for creating a single file or a separate file for each tab, some naming scheme for each tab, and a way to split based on data/size of the output file, similar to how various programs handle their log files (syslog, IIS, Exchange, logrotate, etc.).

Thanks for the suggestion! This is actually already being tracked by another issue on our repo - please refer to #14018 for more discussion.

/dup #14018

There's also #9700 which has quite a bit more details too 😄
