ghost shadow left on the window after enter and exit full screen when displaying very long lines #20067

Steps to reproduce

  1. Win + Run to open wt.exe
  2. echo a very long string to exceeds max column of current window, until typing to line break
  3. press Alt + Enter to go full screen
  4. press Alt + Enter again to exit full screen
  5. now we can see some ghost shadow left on the screen, next to restored wt.exe window, usually to the right
  6. this shadow is always on top, top of desktop, and top of other background applications
  7. this bug does NOT happen on Windows 10, but ONLY on Windows 11
  8. this bug happens in both user and administrative mode
  9. click anywhere outside of wt.exe, the ghost shadow disappears

Expected Behavior

no ghost shadow should be left on the screen after exiting full screen mode.
