This sounds like a good idea, but we'd love some clarification. Do you mean something like one of the following?

We've had a lot of thoughts about stuff like this recently. Narrowing it down to a specific issue would be good for prioritization.

clicking on the text of the folder
will cause it change the path or will create new tab with directory changed

but watching this gif, not bad at all and wonder what is better

mb also in the future, parameters for console apps will also have this interaction
clicking on same parameter will create the commend to run

I always thought that combing GUI with console will make next revolution for IT Admins and much more
