Expected Behavior

All tilde characters should be nice and straight.

Can you try 1.19?
Does this repro without ssh involved (like, with WSL, or ssh from within WSL)?
Can you share a screenshot/?

Everything OK? Unfortunately it's been difficult to understand what the issue is. A screenshot would help quite a bit :)

(I use vim over SSH in WT fairly regularly and haven't hit something that I would call "crazy" yet, but I may be holding it wrong!)
