Here's the dumbest possible solution - does restarting explorer.exe fix it?

taskkill /f /im explorer.exe ; explorer.exe

The context menu on Windows 10 is well known to be.... fickle. Are you right clicking on an actually selected folder, or the background of explorer/? (those follow different code paths)

I had reinstall my system. And I do not think that restart explorer will work, because I have try to restart my pc many times. And in fact, taskkill /f /im explorer.exe could not be done, the system denied it.

And because Windows Terminal is a unified application, I can't find any registry entries related to "Open in Terminal" in the desktop right-click menu in the Windows registry. And the problem still exists after I uninstall and reinstall Windows Terminal. "Open in Terminal" has disappeared forever in the desktop right-click menu and other right-click menus. Later, even if I download the zip version of Windows Terminal, I found that I can't reach the right-click menu to click Open Windows Terminal and automatically go to the current directory. This is so frustrating. This problem happened on my two computers for two consecutive days, so I reinstalled my Windows host for two consecutive days. It's really painful.
