Windows Terminal version

1.23.10081.0 (Canary)

Windows build number

10.0.27768.0

Other Software

No response

Steps to reproduce

Open Windows Terminal through Start Menu or Using Windows' Run and launch wt.exe

Expected Behavior

Only one window should appear

Actual Behavior

Multiple windows has appeared (the following image has 2)
Image

Uninstall and Reinstall Windows Terminal seems to fix it. (I've tried it)
Before I uninstall it, it was up to 4 windows.

While reporting this, the same behaviour has reoccurred.

Thanks for filing! A few questions from the team:

  • Can you share your settings.json /?
  • Can you share your state.json?
  • Do the windows appear all at once, or every couple of seconds one-by-one?
