  1. Investigate Startup Conditions: Review the conditions under which Windows Terminal fails to launch, particularly focusing on the “run as administrator” setting for profiles.
  2. Implement Error Handling: Enhance error handling during startup to provide clearer feedback to users when an issue occurs.
  3. Create Recovery Options: Develop a recovery feature that allows users to reset settings or revert to a previous configuration if startup fails.

After the latest update (1.22.3232.0), users have reported that Windows Terminal crashes immediately upon startup. This issue seems to occur on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems.

Upon launching, the application displays a brief loading screen before crashing, often resulting in an error message indicating an unexpected termination.
