Steps to reproduce

Since upgrading to pwsh 7.5.0 I have experienced this almost every day:

  1. Open a pwsh window and use it during the day (several hours, different commands)
  2. Try to close it at the end of the day by typing exit
  3. Terminal does not close the window. It simply freezes and stops responding.. Other windows, including pwsh work well, they can be opened and closed without issue.

Expected Behavior

Tab should close when typing exit

Actual Behavior

Tab stays open and stops responding. Pressing Enter to Ctrl+C does nothing. Tab mut be closed by clicking X or closing the app.

I am on 1.22, but TBH, I have not noticed the issue lately, so I think it is okay.
I will pay attention today, though, and confirm. BTW, I like the "update is available" notification in the about popup. I use winget to keep things updated, so I never noticed it before, but it is useful.
