Windows Terminal version

1.22.10731.0

Windows build number

22631.5039

Other Software

wetype 1.0.2.1

Steps to reproduce

After installing WeType (WeChat Input Method), Windows Terminal completely freezes when opening multiple CMD windows and performing window operations (maximize, minimize, resize) over a period of time. The application becomes unresponsive and can only be terminated through Task Manager.

Ensure WeType input method is installed and enabled
Open Windows Terminal
Create multiple CMD tabs (3-5) using Ctrl+Shift+T or the right-click menu
Switch between different tabs and execute simple commands
Frequently perform window operations:
Maximize window
Restore window size
Minimize window
Resize window
Continue these operations for approximately 5-10 minutes
Observe window responsiveness

Expected Behavior

Windows Terminal should remain responsive and stable, with smooth window operations and no freezing issues.

Actual Behavior

After about 5-10 minutes of continuous operation, Windows Terminal completely freezes and becomes unresponsive to any input, including keyboard and mouse interactions. Task Manager shows the process in a "Not Responding" state. The only solution is to force quit the process through Task Manager.

Given that this issue doesn't occur with the regular IME, isn't there a high chance that this is a bug in WeType? Would you be able to report this issue to them?
