Windows Terminal version

1.23.10732.0

Windows build number

10.0.19045.5608

Other Software

JPSOFT’s TCC command line

Steps to reproduce

Drag a Windows Terminal tab .. particularly near the taskbar on a multi-monitor setup

Expected Behavior

It drags to where you are dragging it

Actual Behavior

Not just the tab dragged, but that instance (and not other instances) of windows terminal completely disappearing

no confirmation like with Alt-F4, no nothing.

I thought maybe they slid somewhere not visible, had to check my process list. Nope. They’re gone.

This has been happening at a tab-level for ages, but it’s rare the entire window disappears. Suffice to say it was 5 tabs each of which had tasks I was hours into that I had to restart because of it.

it’s just WT that does this. No other programs I have.

Every time i ever accidentally detach a tab it’s complete anxiety, becuase there’s about a 20% chance i’m not just going to lose my progress there, but in other places too. Dragging 1 tab shouldn’t take down every other tab
