After upgrading the terminal to version v1.23.10732.0, I observed that each time I launch the terminal, two identical windows appear instantaneously. To use the terminal properly, I have to close one of these two windows every time.

Prior to posting this issue, I searched through existing issues and found that others have encountered the same problem. In the comments, I noticed that developers recommended changing the "New Instance Behavior" from "Create a new window" to "Attach to the most recently used window."

I tried this adjustment, and while it prevented two windows from appearing each time I opened the terminal, unfortunately, it resulted in two identical tabs appearing instead.

Notably, this bug did not exist before upgrading the software; it only emerged after the update.

I would like to know how to resolve this bug. I hope that each time I open the terminal, only one window with a single tab appears.
