Steps to reproduce

When copying some printouts from tmux, there are a lot of trailing spaces, and sometimes missing newline chars

E.g. here I had to manually insert newlines (but still kept the trailing spaces for bug demonstration purposes)

Expected Behavior

No trailing spaces, and newline chars preserved when copy-pasting output in tmux
