Steps to reproduce

Open Terminal (the first pane/tab/window), type a stub of a history command, then press the Up key for history auto-completion, which should work well.

Then open a new pane/tab/window, try doing the same thing, and history auto-completion will get stuck.

Expected Behavior

History auto-completion should work smoothly for all panes/tabs/windows.

Actual Behavior

History auto-completion gets stuck for new panes/tabs/windows.
