Steps to reproduce

  • Type something and close the terminal
  • Open it again and there you are, no restore from last session

Expected Behavior

On stable build 1.22.11141.0 it's working
But on Preview build 1.23.11132.0 it just doesn't work

Actual Behavior

It just open with default profile

Ah, and a copy of state.json as well--which will hopefully be populated with your session when you exit. It lives next to settings.json.

@DHowett Hmm, it seems like it loads the settings from Terminal (1.22) that were installed on my machine, and maybe they conflict. Because when I reinstalled the preview Terminal 1.23, it broke the UI so much that nothing worked after save, and I had to delete settings.json and any files next to it. Now, when I start fresh, it works again.
