In version 1.23.11132.0 (and probably previous ones, but not in version 1.22)

If you select text, the last byte is not pasted.

I mean if you highlight a text, then press the right mouse button, it should copy the highlighted text.
Previous versions do that (as normal microsoft terminal-console does)
The latest version misses the last byte.

@carlos-zamora this will become a problem for conhost; I suspect it's related to your exclusive selection endpoint change

Considering that we do not truly warrant OpenConsole for use as your console host, this is not particularly high-priority. When we start ingesting OpenConsole as conhost for Windows, that will change.

Right now, we're focusing on bugs in Terminal in advance of the 1.24 release (August).

Not in a product that isn't shipping for end user use this side of 2026, no.

OpenConsole is offered with the Terminal product as the PTY host, and is not intended for external use. Any such use is attempted at your own risk, with no warranty for fitness.

If you continue to appear day after day to drop sarcastic remarks on our repository, I will see that you are removed from it. Otherwise, please follow our code of conduct. Thank you.
