Steps to reproduce

paste multiline text into terminal chat
get the warning dialog, assume it means it's going to paste into terminal chat, but instead it pastes into the actual terminal window

Expected Behavior

focus is in terminal chat so it should paste into terminal chat

Thanks! @PankajBhojwani is working on an input refactoring right now1 that may help. This is a /duplicate of #16589.

  1. we made a mistake very early on building on tunneled key events, which has taken quite some time for us to tease apart again. ↩︎
