Windows Terminal Version: 1.22.12111.0 (original issues found here)

Windows Terminal Preview Version: 1.23.12102.0 (final successful working configurations)

Build in: Window 11 Version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.4946)

Other Software
No Copy/Paste or Clipboard problem was detected in ChatGPT. The same difficult Terminal behaviour was happening with other software interactions but most noticeably annoying while doing the Copy/Pastes to/from ChatGPT due to the quick pace. ChatGPT interactions are only mentioned here as the trigger to highlight the problems first encountered in the Windows Terminal which were exacerbated by attempts to enlist ChatGPT to assist with fixing the problems, and the need to use the Clipboard to post scripts to the Terminal and copy results back to ChatGPT. If the user had sufficient Windows knowledge to fix the issues with 1.22 then ChatGPT would not have to be used in relation with this bug.

Steps to Reproduce
Copy from ChatGPT to Windows Terminal 1.22 and Paste back from Windows Terminal 1.22 to ChatGPT was fraught and unproductive due to either the clipboard not consistently being populated by Auto-copy, or Auto-copy misfunctioning randomly in Windows Terminal plus clunky and unusual Auto-paste behaviour in Windows Terminal which added to the difficulties. To improve functionality and useability, tried to stop Auto-paste and Show Context Menu on right-click - but no fix was available in 1.22 that would work and Auto-copy continued to be unreliable - so had to upgrade to Windows Terminal Preview Version: 1.23.12102.0, which process was complex and finally resolved using JSON attached and creation of efficient PS7 (WT) and PS7 (SAFE) Terminals with correct paths and settings and more friendly / useable functionality. Bug/Issue was resolved to use Terminals comfortably in conjunction with ChatGPT prompts. Reported this as a bug due to 1.22 misbehaviours on Copy/Paste which resolved with 1.23, and was improved further with tweaks to settings and JSON mods. Since the entire exercise took many hours to resolve - attached files may be useful to others.

Expected Behaviour
Copy to Clipboard working consistently in Windows Terminal latest version (finally working only in Preview 1.23).
Right-click to show reliable Context Menu instead of Auto-paste functionality in Windows Terminal latest version (finally working only in Preview 1.23).

Actual Behaviour
Windows Terminal 1.22 was not consistently copying to Clipboard.
No settings or JSON could undo the Auto-paste behaviour in Windows Terminal 1.22.

Resolution Behaviour
Copy to Clipboard working consistently in Windows Terminal latest version (finally working only in Preview 1.23).
Right-click to show reliable Context Menu instead of Auto-paste functionality in Windows Terminal latest version (finally working only in Preview 1.23).
Two Terminals, PS7 (WT) and PS7 (SAFE) created.

Final Windows Terminal solution successfully configured in Windows Terminal Preview
Version: 1.23.12102.0

Files attached provide more detail. Will add more info on Terminal Configurations soon.

okay just to confirm: it works in Terminal 1.23, and it is broken in Terminal 1.22/?

Replying to DHowett - It appears to be broken in Terminal 1.22, but I succeeded in gettting new settings to take in Terminal Preview (1.23, now on 1.24)
