Description of the new feature

When executing full screen window the window covers the start bar.

Would it be possible for an option disable by default for Windows Terminal to not cover the start bar if the desktop where the window is being fullscreened has a start bar. Otherwise, if the desktop doesn't have a start bar it is just like normal full screen.

I don't consider maximize the solution to this since the title bar is still shown.

Proposed technical implementation details

I'm sorry, this is not likely to be something will add. The windowing mode story of Terminal is already fairly complicated, and adding another variable to the mix will make it more of a pain to maintain.

If you "toggle focus mode" and then maximize the window (with Win+Up), does that get you what you're hoping for? It looks right to me 🙂

@pratyush2514 we are not robots, the /assign command has no power here. Even if it did, you are not an administrator on this repository.

Yes, that gets me closer. I believe I can script it via PowerToys too.

The only problem I have is that I can't use the same bind to unfocus/restore (might be able to script that with AutoHotKey instead).

I'll live with it though. Thanks for the alt. method.
