Can't scroll or select text in Windows Terminal, selection vanishes instantly #23750

Steps to reproduce

  1. Open the terminal in any profile.
  2. Attempt to scroll up in the terminal.
  3. Try to select text using your mouse.
  4. Watch as selection instantly disappears after a frame.
  5. Notice that the mouse cursor does not flash.

Expected Behavior

  • Be able to scroll and select text

Actual Behavior

  • Scrolling up with either the scrollbar or mouse wheel cuts back to end of the buffer after one frame. Will only work if "Scroll to input when typing" is disabled in the settings. Unplugging tke keyboard does not fix this problem.
  • Text selection will only be visible for one frame before the selection dissapears, making it impossbile to copy text.
