my hardware is old, but WT work fine without Retro terminal effects [X]

Could you clarify/? Everything looks pretty much fine in the attached video. Maybe a little delayed, but I'd imagine that's just a by-product of old hardware more than anything.

The recorded video doesn't capture the problem well.
In reality, it's very bad with latency.

tested on terminal-1.25.3321.0

I do not think that we can produce a generic warning for this feature which will cover all permutations of user hardware. For some people it will perform fine, for others it will perform poorly. Such is the way of shaders.
