Setting font to MapleMono-NF-CN-unhinted crashes the Terminal #23975

Steps to reproduce

  1. Download the Maple Mono NF CN from https://font.subf.dev/en/
  2. Set is as the font by opening the Terminal, navigating to Settings -> Defaults -> Appearance and setting the "Font Face" as "Maple Mono NF CN"

Expected Behavior

The font to be set and terminal not crashing.

Actual Behavior

The terminal crashes immediately and no changes were applied.

Event viewer has the following log entry:

This is a weird one. The crash signature is adjacent to the one fixed in #19753. Do you by chance still see this issue if you test it out with Terminal Canary?

Thank you for the response. I am not able to reproduce this consistently anymore. No crashes on neither the 1.23.13503.0 or the canary, not sure what's up with that. :/

I'll close the ticket because I am not able to reproduce it today.
