…mechanism that works (and shouldn't interfere with the build.)

This was from #2857 and reverted in #2945.

This particular step wasn't interfering with the build, it was the sourcelink NuGet package. I'd like to have at least one way of having source-linked-symbols so I'm turning this one back on for now.
