Is there any other information it gives you? Any other error messages?

This looks like the AppInstaller itself is crashing, not the terminal. Can you install any other msix packages, or is it just the Terminal package that's crashing AppInstaller?

Maybe this is related to https://github.com/microsoft/terminal/issues/3219
Installation process says only "package dependencies can not be loaded"...
