Environment

Windows build number: Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.19035.0
Windows Terminal version (if applicable): v0.7.3451.0

Any other software?
No.

Steps to reproduce

  • Open Windows terminal
  • Ensure it's a Powershell or cmd tab (haven't tested for other profiles)
  • Type some Chinese characters using the system's built-in PinYin input method

Expected behavior

The characters should be shown exactly as what you typed

Actual behavior

An additional space character was appended to each character I typed. See below image. The exactly same behavior happens to cmd tab.
