Description of the new feature/enhancement

As an user, I'd like to be able to open a new tab and have it start on the currently focused tab's working directory, for WSL shells, cmd.exe and Powershell. This would eliminate the friction of having to recall the previous working directory and changing directories right after the tab opened.

Proposed technical implementation details (optional)

From the little I've gathered, Linux terminals implement this by querying the current working directory of the process that is currently running in that tab. Would this be difficult to implement for WSL tabs, given that WSL 2 now runs inside a VM?
