Hi,

I typed "sudo" and "sudo raj --user" it asks for the password and I have typed my windows user password but still says authentication error. Is there a default password for it? is it stored in someplace so I can look?

Where are you running sudo from? A WSL distro, like Ubuntu, SUSE, Debian? If so, then the password is whatever password you used when setting up the account for the distro, not your Windows user password.

If you're having an issue with sudo, you would have better luck asking about it on the wsl repository or stack overflow.

Hi,

@zadjii-msft I have installed windows terminal from the Windows store and I am running it on Windows 10. When I choose ubuntu tab and type "sudo" it is giving me an error. I don't know distro and did not set any password for it.

The terminal can't really help you here; I'm sorry. You might want to consult Stack Overflow or another internet discussion site on how to configure sudo for Ubuntu on WSL.
