Environment

Windows build number: 10.0.18363.0
Windows Terminal version (if applicable): 0.11.1191.0

Any other software?

Steps to reproduce

Start Menu
Settings
System
Display
Play HDR games and apps - Set this to ON.

Expected behavior

That text in the Windows Terminal would be visible as it is in "SDR mode".

Actual behavior

All text regardless of session type (pwsh, Powershell, cmd, etc.) or ANSI codes is invisible (it has the same color as the terminal session background).

@LookoutHill Do you happen to know if this is a recent regression in the Terminal, or has this been happening for a while? This might help us narrow down the solution, since we did a good amount of graphics stack changes in the 0.11 timeframe.

This sounds like it would be pretty severe. @miniksa does the studio you have support HDR to be able to take a look at this? I don't personally have any hardware that supports HDR, so we'll need to get some of that be be able to investigate on our end.

Nope, this Studio doesn't support that, sorry. We'd need the hardware.

@zadjii-msft I don't happen to know how long this has been going on. I accidentally discovered the issue while I was fiddling with the settings for my new video card trying to resolve an unrelated font issue.
