Running explorer.exe . on Ubuntu WSL 2 terminal does not open 9P server #8551

Within a WSL terminal, if we run explorer.exe . it is supposed to spin up a 9P server & make the files accessible from windows according to WSL Devblog. This works from the Ubuntu WSL command line.

However, doing the same on terminal opens standard explorer window, not the WSL folder

Closing. The issue was that Windows Terminal by default opens in Windows Home for Ubuntu rather than Ubuntu home
